Cross Plains, WI 2020

This project took place in Cross Plains, WI and we were asked to come up with a design to help update the plantings around the house and create a backyard space where they could sit back and relax with friends on a cool summer night. We came up with a design that provided open patio space for seating, dining, and grilling, a central fire pit area with wall seating and decorative pillars, and surrounding landscape beds and plantings to provide color and soften up the space. All of the materials featured in this project were from Unilock and included Brussels Block pavers, Series 3000 onyx black soldier course pavers around the border of the patio, Old Quarry wall block with Series 3000 accent banding, and Ledgestone chiseled seat caps, pillar caps, and step coping. The surrounding landscape beds feature American Heritage decorative stone, colored concrete curb edging, large sheet flagstone steppers to create walkways through the beds, natural limestone steps, fieldstone boulders to break up elevation change, and various new flowering perennials and shrubs.
