Our design process begins with an initial consultation at the property to go over the customer’s thoughts and expectations. It is this initial meeting where we begin to get an idea of what design elements may work well, which plants the customer would be interested in, the customer’s style preference, budget concerns, and much more. We will always bring lawn paint to the consultations to shape out and size up possible design ideas! It is often at this stage where we will offer our advice on whether a full design blueprint, detailed design, perspective renderings, and site section views would be necessary for the project as well.
If design services are necessary or preferred by the customer, our next step is to take measurements and photos of the property and its structures. This may be done during the original consultation meeting or at a later date. These design services do come with a small charge, but would be used towards the actual project installation charge should the installation be done. Our blueprint designs can come in either a colored or black and white version, are to exact scale, professionally labeled, extremely legible, and can be easily adjusted to make any later changes for our customers.
Most of our designs are done by combining both digital and hand drawn work. Once our work is complete, we will set up another meeting to go over our design ideas and a quote on the project. From there we will continue to work with our customers to develop the final design plan that best fits their desires and budget. In addition, we will work directly with our customers and our material suppliers to choose the perfect materials and plants for the job.
Installation
Once the final design has been completed, the next step in the process is the installation stage. During the installation, our landscape foreman and crew will be using the blueprint as reference to size, shape, and labeled material/plant placement.
Our foreman will always be available to help answer your questions during the installation process. Unlike many other companies, we always make sure to keep our job sites clean throughout the entire installation process, even during the excavation and removal stages.
Once the site is properly prepared we will often paint out the size of your future patio, fire pit, plant placement, or wall size to make sure you are fully satisfied with where the elements will be going. It is at this point where the design blueprint and perspective renderings come to life!
Our skilled crews will begin installing the landscape elements within the design to officially bring the full project together.
Follow Up
After the project has been completed and we know that our customer is fully satisfied with the work that was done we will continue to be in touch with them to make sure the final installation was exactly what they had hoped for.
We are so confident in our work that most of our projects, especially hardscapes, are backed up with a guaranteed two-year warranty in which any repair services would be completely covered.
Many of our design services will involve multiple project stages where the first part of the design will be installed in the spring and a second part later in the fall. This can be useful for both your budget and to let your landscape mature. All design projects are kept on file and are easily accessible to be referred back to for future projects.
We also enjoy staying in touch with our customers to get feedback on their entire experience because your satisfaction is what drives us!
